Consists of 6 half hour classes. We offer small classes with enthusiastic, energetic, creative and caring instructors who make the lessons fun & challenging. Children learn through games & props. Lessons are for all ages 4 years & up.Child must be able to stand unassisted on the ice. Snow pants are recommended for pre-school levels. It is important to where gloves or mittens. Helmets will be required. Maximum 8 children per class.

Today's hockey is all about speed. Competitive players who aspire to play hockey at a high level must master balance, agility, and maneuverability. These motions and maneuvers must be practiced correctly, consistently and repetitively until they become ingrained and natural. This where power skating comes in.

This program will focus STRICTLY on skating development only. All aspects of both forward and backward skating will be covered, including maximum stride extension and push, proper body lean and weight distribution, proper knee bend, and full stride recovery. Pivots and revolutions will be taught to improve balance and agility. Both inside and outside edge use of the skate blade will be drilled.

Enhance your skating skills and improve your ability to play Canada's game. Randy Zinn is the in-house skating instructor at Centre Ice. Full equipment and a CSA helmet is mandatory for all sessions. |

Get a head start playing hockey with conditioning! "It's just a Game" For all women and men looking to play hockey who are in need of a small push start. Recreational hockey is growing in popularity and you can still play hockey by joining team. This is just the conditioning you need to get started for playing on a league team. Full equipment and a CSA approved helmet are mandatory for the entire 5 sessions.
