Tot Hockey is a little guys version of Pond Hockey. Tot Hockey is a totally non-competitive fun alternative to organized hockey. It is a fun way to take the focus off the skates for the early skater and on the puck. Tot hockey is geared for ages 3-6 years who are able to skate across the width of the ice.
Tot Hockey emphasizes skating skills, stopping drills, puck handling, passing and shooting.
The required equipment for all Tot Hockey sessions is as follows:
Stick CSA approved hockey helmet with full facemask * Hockey pants*
Neck guard Hockey gloves
Shin pads
The use of full hockey gear is not necessary, players where whatever is comfortable to provide confidence on the ice.
Tot Hockey is the answer for those kids and families who want to play the game without the pressure and stress of organized hockey. Parent participation is encouraged.
